5+ years of professional experience
People are typically surprised when I mention that I began my career in public accounting. Prior to transitioning into User Experience design, I spent my days crunching numbers and analyzing data. I even earned my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in California.
When I discovered UX design, I was immediately interested in the field. It may sound unrelated to accounting, but I find that my background lends to analytical problem-solving and data-driven decision-making. I design with systems in mind - because I believe that an intuitive, scalable, UX experience lays the foundation for beautiful UI.
I understand the financial side of businesses and make it my goal to solve for a delightful user experience that also aligns with business goals.

- Design user experiences for multiple clients concurrently, ensuring seamless project execution and client satisfaction
- Utilize research and data to design detailed wireframes with clear user journeys and information architecture

- Identified user goals, mapped user journeys, and created site maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes
- Utilized Material Design System (MUI) to set-up design system components for web applications

- Audited financial statements for companies in a variety of industries, including real estate, software, healthcare, and not-for-profit
- Collaborated with team members to meet deadlines on multiple ongoing projects simultaneously
- Analyzed financial statement data to determine whether financial statements were stated accurately in accordance with US GAAP.
